Born in Scranton, son of the late Vincent and Constance Gregorek Mikolayczak, he attended Scranton public schools and was a retired employee of the former Burschel Dairy Co. He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cathedral, its Senior Citizens Club, the Polish National Union of America and Acacia Lodge 579, Free and Accepted Masons. Surviving are a son, Robert, Scranton; a daughter, Mrs.

Constance Hosko, Scranton; a sister, Mrs. Florence Potacki, Scranton; a brother, Scranton; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Malczynski; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Rebicek and Mrs.

Anthony T. Butchko, 220 N. State Clarks Summit, died Thursday in Mercy Hospital after an illness. His widow is the former Stephana Hoynak. Born in Scranton, son of the late Max and Josephine Kalita Butchko, he was a dentist in Clarks Summit the past 35 years.

He was a lieutenant commander in the Navy for both World War II and Korea. He was a member of All Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Olyphant. He was a graduate of. Central High School, Keystone Junior College and Temple School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and American Dental Societies.

He also was a member of the VVW Post 769, Clarks Summit. Also surviving is a son, Thomas Boynton Beach, a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Blumenfeld, Jenkinstown; two brothers. Very Rev. 'Basil Butchko, Mount Clemens, and Max, Clarks Summit; a sister, Mrs.

Lynn, Clarks Summit RD6, died Thanksgiving Day in Moses Taylor Hospital after an illness. His widow is the former Anna- Mae Kasmaryk. The couple had been married over 42 years. Born in Scranton, son of the late Thomas A. and Alice Mangan Lynn, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School.

He was active in the bar-restaurant business over 50 years. For the past 32 years, he was the proprietor of Tommy Lynns Club Diane in conjunction with his wife and daughter. He formerly operated a tavern in Daleville. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Clarks Summit, and a member of its Mens Club. He was head usher at the church for over 30 years and was a member of the Abington Knights of Columbus, Council 6611.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World WarH. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Diane) Collins, Scranton, and Miss Suzanne Lynn, at home; two grandsons, Matthew and Michael Collins; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Ann Marie) May, Scranton; four brothers, Edmund, Baltimore, Eugene, Effort, Leo and Joseph, both of Scranton, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome, and a sister, Alice. The funeral will be Monday from Jennings-Calvey Funeral Home, 111 Colburn Clarks Summit, with Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church. Interment, St. Catherines Cemetery, Moscow.

Mary A. McNulty Mrs. Mary A. McNulty, formerly of 252 James died Thursdsay in Andover Nursing Home, Andover, N.J., after an illness. Her husband, Ambrose died in 1971.

Born in Scranton, she resided here most of her life and was a retired employee of The Globe Store where she held the position of buyer in the childrens department. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Mary Harrington, Scranton. The funeral will be Saturday from Edward T. Walsh-Frank M.

Born in Italy, son of the late Jerome and Josephine Samo Lomonaco, he was employed by Mas Old-Fashioned Root Beer Beverage Distributors. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Scranton. Also surviving are two sons, Jerome and Russell, both of Mill City; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Groves, Scranton, and Mrs.

Frances Cook, Lakeland, a brother, Tony Lamonica, Scranton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mecca, Scranton, and Mrs. Stella Owens, New Jersey; 11 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Carubba.

Born in Naples, Italy, daughter of the late Anthony and Thomasina Pitslaw Rodio, she lived in Jessup most of her life after coming here from Italy. She was a member of St.

Marys Assumption Church, Jessup, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are four sons, John, Jessup; Gerald, Peckville; Ambrose, Lake Wallenpau-pack, and Leonard, Hazleton; four daughters, Thomasina and Eleanor, at home; Mrs. Andrew (Theresa) Maday, Olyphant, and Mrs. Earl (Rita) Zerbe, Jessup; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Ambrose, and a sister, Mary, preceded her in death.

His wife, the former Arline Thomas, died in 1982. Born in Windsor, N.Y., son of the late John and Charlotte Craft Tompkins, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Glenwood Chapel and Harford Masonic Lodge 445. Surviving are a son, Edgar, Mahwah, N.J.; a daughter, Helen Crock, Starkville; six grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Lyda Mae Tiffany, died in 1986.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Glenwood Chapel with Rev. Paul Molter officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the chapel.

His widow is the former Gertrude Masters. Born in Geneva, N.Y., son of the late William and Katherine Wyatt Townsend, he retired in 1974 after 40 years as a truck driver for the former Eschenbach and Rogers Trucking Co. He was a member of Teamsters Local 229 and the Teamsters Retirees Club. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a Purple Heart recipient and prisoner of war in Europe. He was a member of American Legion Post 675, West Scranton, and Hyde Park Presbyterian Church.

Also surviving are three brothers, Vernon, Geneva; Frank, Scranton, and Richard, Portsmouth, two sisters, Wynena Covert, Geneva, and Gladys Hartranft, Palm Harbor, several nieces and nephews. Mary D. McCormick Mary D. McCormick, 68, 504 College Allentown, formerly of this city, died Wednesday at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. She was the wife of P. Joseph McCormick.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Belinda Boylan Dean. She graduated in 1941 from Mercy Hospitals School of Nursing and worked as a nurse at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Lehigh County, prior to her retirement in 1980. She was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Patrick Ardmore, and a daughter, Maureen, Allentown, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden Allentown, with Mass of. Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

His wife, Janice, died April 14, 1977. Born in Dunmore, son of the late Joseph and Jane Ann Stewart, he was a retired coal miner and a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Wilson, East Stroudsburg; Gloria Stewart, Dunmore; Janice Dailey, Scranton; a brother.
